Baird Capital, the Chicago-based venture capital and private equity arm of Robert W. Baird & Co. Inc., has successfully closed its sixth U.S. venture capital fund, securing an impressive $218 million, marking its largest fund to date. The firm has already allocated $34.5 million across three companies, leading financing rounds alongside other investors.
Notable investments include a $31.5 million series C round for Zylo Inc., an Indianapolis-based SaaS management firm; a $25 million series B for Osano Inc., a data privacy management software firm in Austin, Texas; and a $12 million series B for Parallax (Right Team Inc.), a Minnesota-based predictive forecasting and capacity planning software firm.
The venture funds focus on mid-stage companies in the B2B technology and services markets, with investments ranging from $10 million to $20 million in companies generating $2 million to $15 million in revenue. Baird Capital's previous U.S. venture fund was $215 million, showcasing a consistent growth trajectory.
