CIVC Partners exceeds $700m target with $870m in Fund VII commitments

CIVC Partners has successfully completed fundraising for its latest fund, CIVC Partners Fund VII, exceeding its initial $700 million target by securing $870 million in capital. The oversubscribed fund launched in June 2023.

CIVC Partners Fund VI, the predecessor to Fund VII, closed in November 2020 with total commitments of $560 million. CIVC is based in Chicago and specializes in buyout and growth equity investments in the lower middle market, focusing on business services companies with EBITDA levels above $5 million in the United States and Canada.
