Houston-based private equity firm, EIV Capital, has successfully concluded its fundraising for EIV Capital Fund III, LP and affiliates, reaching a hard cap of $450 million, exceeding the initial $350 million target. The fund, which follows the firm's established strategy, will concentrate on growth equity investments in the midstream energy sector, with opportunistic ventures across the broader energy value chain.
The institutional fundraising, initiated in August 2016 and completed in December 2016, garnered a diverse investor base, affirming EIV Capital's dedication to growth equity investments in the lower middle market energy sector. Emphasizing its commitment to efficient partnerships, EIV Capital will employ its proven approach of collaborating with entrepreneurial management teams and companies in undercapitalized markets. Fund III will specifically target midstream infrastructure projects, encompassing gathering, processing, distribution, storage, and marketing of oil, natural gas, and refined products. Additionally, the fund aims to partner with accomplished entrepreneurs in related segments of the energy value chain.
