Generate Capital, a prominent sustainable infrastructure platform, has successfully concluded its latest capital raise, securing $1.5 billion in commitments from renowned global institutional investors. The funding round witnessed substantial participation, with the California State Teachers’ Retirement System (CalSTRS), the world's largest educator-only pension fund, leading the charge alongside notable newcomers like HESTA. Existing investors, including QIC and AustralianSuper, also contributed to this milestone financing initiative. With this achievement, Generate Capital has now amassed a total capital of over $10 billion since its inception in 2014, solidifying its position as a leader in sustainable infrastructure investment.
