Golding Capital Partners has successfully secured close to €280 million for its latest secondaries fund, Golding Secondaries 2022, positioning it to surpass the capital raised by its inaugural secondaries fund. The firm anticipates reaching its €500 million target for the fund, with an initial close of €172 million achieved in August last year.
The preceding fund, Golding Secondaries 2019, closed at €280 million in 2022, exceeding its original target of €200 million. Golding Capital Partners, known for its diverse investment strategies, amassed €1.7 billion in total funds raised last year, with secondaries and co-investments constituting approximately 50% of this sum. Moreover, the firm's focus on secondaries investments saw a notable increase, rising from 5% in 2022 to 13% in the past year.
