In the fourth quarter of 2023, Goldman Sachs reported a substantial uptick in alternative investment inflows, reaching $23 billion compared to the previous year's $3 billion during the same period. This remarkable growth underscores the firm's robust performance in the alternatives sector. Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management, boasting $1 trillion in assets and catering to 16,000 clients, primarily comprises ultra-high-net-worth individuals who invest in alternatives through both third-party managers and the firm's proprietary funds.
