Goldman Sachs raises $15b for its secondaries fund

Goldman Sachs has successfully secured over $15 billion for its private equity secondary strategy, demonstrating the sustained interest in this fast-growing investment approach.

The bank's asset management unit raised more than $14 billion for its largest-ever flagship secondaries fund and more than $1 billion for its debut fund, which focuses on secondary deals in the infrastructure sector. Despite challenging market conditions, this fundraising effort marks a significant increase from their previous secondaries fund, which raised just over $10 billion in 2020.
