Hartford Funds launches Private Opportunities Fund with Schroders

Hartford Funds has launched the Hartford Schroders Private Opportunities Fund, an actively managed closed-end tender offer fund that primarily invests in private equity strategies. The fund aims to provide broad exposure to small- and medium-sized buyout and growth companies with enterprise values ranging from $50 million to $1 billion. It will invest globally in a range of sectors, including healthcare, technology, consumer, services, and industrials. The fund offers lower investment minimums, periodic opportunities for liquidity, and familiar 1099 tax reporting, making private equity investments more accessible to investors. The fund is sub-advised by Schroder Investment Management.
