New 2nd Capital is making significant strides in its latest private equity fundraising endeavor. The firm, specializing in mid-market complex deals, has successfully secured over $457.1 million for its New 2nd Capital Fund III, as revealed in recent filings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Notably, Fund III has set its sights on a total target of more than $600 million and has also managed to secure co-investment capital alongside its primary vehicle.
The launch of Fund III took place in August of the preceding year, marking its official entry into the market. This year, New 2nd Capital, headquartered in New York and recognized for its emphasis on GP-led transactions, spearheaded a substantial deal aimed at providing Centre Partners with additional time and capital to foster the growth of its portfolio companies, IMA Group and Sun Orchard.
