Pictet closes inaugural healthcare PE fund with $320m

Pictet Alternative Advisors has successfully closed its inaugural healthcare-focused thematic private equity fund, surpassing the initial target by reaching $320 million (CHF 280.5 million). Launched in 2022, the fund strategically allocates capital across five key segments: therapeutics, diagnostics, digital health, medical technology, and healthcare providers and service providers. It has already initiated investments in biotech and healthcare-focused venture capital, growth, and buyout funds, with a significant portion earmarked for co-investments.

This achievement marks Pictet's latest milestone in its thematic private equity franchise, bringing the total raised to an impressive $950 million. The capital infusion stems from a diverse investor base, including high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors.
