San Francisco-based VC and private equity firm, Top Tier Capital, has successfully secured an additional $1.05 billion for investments in global venture funds and tech enterprises. Founded in 2011 by Philip Paul, who spun the company out of Paul Capital, Top Tier boasts partners in San Francisco, Boston, and London. The firm, known for its strategic investments primarily in VC funds and startups, has accumulated $3.7 billion across 12 funds since its inception.
With over $8 billion in assets under management, Top Tier's extensive portfolio encompasses approximately 400 fund interests, featuring renowned entities like Andreessen Horowitz, Mayfield Ventures, Creandum, and others. This capital infusion positions Top Tier Capital to further strengthen its presence in sectors such as biotechnology, software-as-a-service, web3, and AI, solidifying its impact in the global private equity landscape.
